Pastoral Centre

The function of our Parish Pastoral Centre is to serve parishioners as a venue for both pastoral and recreational activities.

The Parish Pastoral Centre is open from 10am – 12.30pm from Monday to Friday. It also opens for refreshments after Sunday morning Masses.

The Centre hosts parish meetings for the Pastoral Council, the Baptism Preparation Team, the Bethany Group and the Parish Liturgy Group.

A variety of recreational activities currently take place in our Parish Pastoral Centre. These include: Active Retirement meetings, Art Group, Bridge classes & Bridge Club, Book Club, Craft mornings, Gentle Activity to music classes, I.C.A. meetings, Pilate classes and Yoga classes.

The Parish Office is located in the Parish Pastoral Centre. Its opening times are Monday to Friday from 10am – 12.30pm and other times by arrangement.

The Mill Coffee Shop is also located in the Centre. It opens each weekday morning from 10am -12.30pm and on Sunday morning from 10-1pm. This is a welcoming and friendly venue for your morning cuppa!

There is a selection of tasteful quality religious goods for sale in the Parish Pastoral Centre. Mass cards, statues, icons, baptismal and wedding candles, greeting cards, holy water fonts, prayer cards, medals and other religious goods are on display in the foyer.

The Parish Library is located in the Parish Pastoral Centre. It has a reasonable range of books which are available to borrow.

The Parish would like to take this opportunity to let parishioners know that they are very welcome to invite their families and friends to refreshments in the Parish Pastoral Centre on the evening of their deceased loved ones’ removal to the Church. It is proposed that neighbours of the deceased, with the help of the Centre’s Hospitality Team, would provide this service.

The spacious Conference Room in the Parish Pastoral Centre is available for letting throughout the year for meetings and training. Further details are available from the Parish Office.
