Thank you for your donations to last week’s Offertory and Share Collections. Donations to these collections can be made online from our Parish Website. There is a donate button on the Archdiocese of Dublin Website where parishioners can make donations directly.
SPECIAL APPEAL FOR EAST AFRICA: The Bishops of Ireland have called for a national Church collection this weekend to support Trócaire in providing life-saving aid to vulnerable communities in East Africa and DRC, where millions of people are being pushed to the edge of starvation. Trócaire teams are already responding on the ground, and are ready to provide more life-saving assistance but need more resources. Any support the Parish can give to this Emergency Appeal will help the urgent work of Trócaire and their hardworking local partners. This collection will replace today’s Share collection.

Altar List of the Dead: In November each year when we pray for our dead, churches enrol the names of our relatives and friends who have departed this life on an annual ‘Altar List of the Dead’. There are envelopes available on the tables beside the entrance doors to the church if you wish to complete your Altar List of the Dead and return it to the church.

Information on how to register for the ongoing Zoom Mini Course on Laudato Si, Pope Francis Encyclical “On Care for Our Common Home” is available on our website and Weekly Bulletin. This course explores Pope Francis inspiring document which is addressed to each of us and offers a blueprint for responding to the Cry of the Poor and the Cry of the Earth. Jane Mellett, the Laudato Si Officer with Trócaire, is hosting this course which continues for the next 4 Wednesday evenings from 7.30pm – 8.30pm.

A Prayer for Our Earth
All powerful God,
you are present in the universe
and in the smallest of your creatures.
You embrace with your tenderness all that exists.
Pour out upon us the power of your love,
that we may protect life and beauty.
Fill us with your peace, so that we may live as brothers and sisters, harming no one.
O God of the poor,
help us to rescue the abandoned
and forgotten of this earth,
so precious in your eyes.
Bring healing to our lives,
that we may protect the world and not prey on it,
that we may sow beauty,
not pollution and destruction.
Touch the hearts
of those who look only for gain
at the expense of the poor and the earth.
Teach us to discover the worth of each thing,

Community Cafés: Would you like to help in a really practical way to support people in food poverty in the community? Crosscare Community Cafe in D1 are looking for volunteers to help our wonderful kitchen staff behind the scenes as a volunteer kitchen porter 1-2 mornings per week (Mon-Fri 10.30-2.30)

Drug and Alcohol Programme Crosscare’s Drug & Alcohol programme offers a free addiction counselling service. A Prayer in the Time of the Coronavirus
Almighty and All–loving God,
Father, Son and Holy Spirit,
we pray to you through Christ the Healer
for those who suffer from the Coronavirus Covid–19
in Ireland and across the world.
We pray too for all who reach out to those who mourn the loss
of each and every person who has died as a result of contracting the disease.
Give wisdom to policymakers,
skill to healthcare professionals and researchers,
comfort to everyone in distress
and a sense of calm to us all in these days of uncertainty and distress.
This we ask in the name of Jesus Christ our Lord
who showed compassion to the outcast,
acceptance to the rejected
and love to those to whom no love was shown.

Generation Tech is a free service and is run by volunteers. Volunteer run FREE HELPLINE to help older people in Ireland with tech issues.
