Thank you to the parishioners who have volunteered to help with the re-opening of our church for public Masses. Some additional volunteers are required to help with stewarding and sanitising. Please phone Fr. Peter Briscoe or the Parish Office.



Level 3 Covid 19 Public Health Restrictions allows 50 people to take part in Mass in our church. In order to manage the limited attendance that is permitted at each Mass we have put in place a plan for TICKET ONLY participation at our Masses on Christmas Eve and Christmas Day. Please phone the Parish Office (2680041 / 2196740) if you wish to be included in the draw for a ticket to attend one of our Christmas Masses

The church is open for private prayer on Monday – Saturday from 10.45 to 5.30pm and on Sunday from 12,30pm to 5.30pm.




The Society’s Annual Christmas Indoor Collection will be held at all Masses next Sunday. In previous years, donations to this collection have greatly helped the Society to provide food, heating and educational costs for those in need. Due to the reduced number of parishioners allowed attend Mass the proceeds from this collection will be greatly reduced. To make up for this decrease the Society have suggested the following ways for you to donate this appeal:

Crosscare are appealing for donations of toiletries to include in their food parcels. You can leave your donations at the Community Food Bank Dundrum Methodist Church Ballinteer Rd, Dublin 16 on Tuesdays the 8th and 15th December between 1-2pm


  Living with LossThe Irish Hospice Foundation’s Annual bereavement information evening will be held on line this year on Wednesday December 9th at 7pm.  This event is free to attend, but you would need to book a place using the following link   This public event aims to provide information about grief and the range of supports available to bereaved people.  


The Irish Hospice Foundation Bereavement Support Line is 1800 80 70 77 and is open from 10am – 1pm from Monday to Friday (excluding bank holidays). If the line is busy when you call, they can call you back if you leave your contact details.


ALONE manage a national support line and additional supports for older people who have concerns or are facing difficulties relating to the outbreak of COVID-19 (Coronavirus). Professional staff are available to answer queries and give advice and reassurance where necessary.  The support line is open seven days a week, 8.00am – 8.00pm, by calling 0818 222 024. 


YCD Connected Group 

The Young Church Dublin have started a connected group for Young Adults (20’s 30’s) to gather online. We meet every Wednesday, from 8.00-9.00pm. We will have time to catch up, reflect on Scripture, chat in small discussion groups and enjoy time in prayer together. It provides an opportunity to connect in with other young adults in a community of faith. If you would like to join us, email


Teen Hope Online Teen Hope is a space where teens can be themselves – a pressure free zone. It is a space where through fun and engaging activities you can build friendships, and encounter an experience of welcome, belonging and discipleship. While we physically cannot gather due to Covid 19, the Young Church Dublin is offering the Alpha Youth Series online as a way to reach out to Teens during this time.  For more information


Volunteer Drivers Irish Cancer Society

Irish Cancer Society is looking for volunteers to drive patients to and from their chemotherapy treatments.  Drivers with a free weekday availability and who can commit to driving twice a month.  Please email Gail at or call 01 2310 566 for an application form. Due to the impact of the Coronavirus, we are seeking drivers under the age of 70 years.


The Mary Aikenhead Centre in Donnybrook operates a ‘Meals on Wheels Service’ for our area. 

The service provides a healthy meal delivered direct to elderly and housebound person’s homes five days a week Monday to Friday. If you are an elderly person from this area and would like to avail of this service, please contact the Centre at 01 2698995
