Thank you for your contributions to last Sunday’s collections.
The Offertory Collection amounted to €1330 and the Share Collection amounted to €958.
Parish Prayer Group
Fr. Alan will be re gathering the Parish Prayer Group on this Monday October 1st in the Parish Pastoral Centre at 3pm. This group will be exploring Prayer, Mindfulness and finding God in our lives.
The following items were discussed at the September meeting of the Parish Pastoral Council:

*Archbishop Martin’s letter as a follow up to the World Meeting of Families,
*Church Building Project,
*Milltown Parish’s Bicentenary in 2019
*Additional Members required for the Parish Pastoral Council,
Thank you to all who supported the Coffee Morning in aid of the Hospice. €530 was donated and has been forwarded to the Hospice.
Scripture Study and Faith Enrichment Course: A Scripture Study and Faith Enrichment Course for adults begins in the Good Shepherd Parish Centre, Churchtown. The course will continue each Thursday from 7.30pm to 9.30pm, concluding on Thursday 6th December. The focus will be on the Acts of the Apostles. There is no charge for participation in the course. You will need to bring a Navarre copy of the Bible. All are welcome. Please contact Liam at 086 807 6555 or Mary at 086 357 6581 to reserve a place on the course as numbers are limited.

FIRST FRIDAY: This Friday, October 5th is the First Friday of the month. The 10am Mass on the day will be offered for all who are recently deceased and those whose names are on the Parish Altar List of the Dead.
Craft Morning
Perhaps you have a craft which you enjoy? If so, please come along to the Parish Pastoral Centre between 10am–12.30pm on Thursday mornings, where parishioners will have an opportunity to share their creative talents.
‘Living with Loss’ A Bereavement Information Evening will take place on Thursday 1st November, 5.30–8.00pm at the Alexander Hotel, 41-47 Fenian Street, Dublin 2. Niamh Fitzpatrick, sister of Captain Dara Fitzpatrick, will address the gathering and speak on the theme ‘Living with Loss’. Admission is free. Trocaire
Volunteer with Trócaire in Ireland: Trócaire supports some of the most vulnerable people in the developing world, while also raising awareness of injustice and global poverty in Ireland.
