A CHRISTMAS GIFT OF MUSIC
Our Parish Chamber Choir has produced a high quality and most attractive C.D. of Christmas hymns and music. It is entitled A CHORAL CHRISTMAS . The C.D. has been professionally recorded and mixed by Philip Begley and produced by Bill Whelan at Fort Studios, Roundstone Co. Galway . It is manufactured by Trend Duplications, Dublin.
This C.D. is presented in novel form and while it is especially packaged for Christmas distribution, the C.D. makes for delightful listening all year round.. It comes in handsome Christmas card format which is also a gift token. The disc is attached within the fold of the greeting card.
The repertoire includes twelve seasonal hymn pieces plus an organ solo by our parish chamber choir organist Fergal Caulfield. The scope of the recording is wide ranging. It includes traditional carols and hymns from Germany , Russia , France , the Basque country, Hungary , Scotland and Ireland . We hope that parishioners and members of the wider public will purchase a personal copy.
